I entered the mortgage industry while building my own home back in the mid 1980’s. During the past 25+ years I have been in both the retail and the wholesale side starting as a processor to today as a recruiter helping VIP to continue to grow as the TOP lender in the industry.
I was born in Canada, but came to the US at a very young age growing up in Tempe and living most of my adult life in Mesa, AZ. My husband, Lance and I have 5 children and 1 grandson. All our children are grown but keep us busy keeping track of their hectic lives; especially our grandson. We support several charities in the valley including the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley. I am a member of AMLA and support the active role that we should all take in our industry.
I believe if you provide the right tools, the right information to employees the sky is the limit as to what can be accomplished. Previously in wholesale, I always strived to provide a Loan officer with all the correct information to experience a fast and efficient closing. The same philosophy holds true at VIP. The customer is always #1 with VIP.
During my tenure in the mortgage industry I often run into people I have worked with or known in the past. I was delighted to see that so many of those people are at VIP Mortgage. Although I am new to VIP, I feel I am already part of the family.
