My background in the mortgage industry began as a real estate appraiser in the mid 90’s.  I had the opportunity to work alongside my father and eventually had my own appraisal company for four years.   I later moved into underwriting and secondary marketing with a Subprime lender in 2001.  I joined VIP Mortgage, Inc. in June of 2010 as their warehouse manager and enjoy working for such a great company.
 
As a Washington State native there was a definite adjustment period when I first moved to Arizona, but once I survived my first summer, I grew to love and appreciate all the outdoor activities here which include golf, tennis and spring training.  I enjoy going to all the great sporting events here, however I will always be a Seahawk fan at heart.  I believe in giving back to the community and am an active giver to the Red Cross, American Cancer Society and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
 
My background enables me to understand all aspects of the mortgage loan.  I know the challenges each party faces in the process and can offer customer service from a unique perspective.  Experience with what might happen to a loan as it works its way through the system enables me to be proactive and help avoid unanticipated delays.  I am committed to offering professional and knowledgeable service to all parties involved.
 
I was excited to work for VIP the minute I was introduced to management.  They know every employee’s name and take the time to greet them daily, they even shaved their heads in support of one of our team going through chemotherapy - this speaks volumes about the ownership and team spirit here at VIP Mortgage, Inc.
